I Love This Guy

All of Stover’s heroic fantasies offer fight scenes of such crippling power that they risk hospitalizing incautious readers . . .
I’d like to get that one on the covers of the Acts of Caine.

My wife wont believe me when I say I broke my spleen while reading Heroes Die, now I have proof..
You should get that as a blurb on the cover of HFF :D
Reminds me of a quote on the back of a Patricia Highsmith novel “Not to be read by the weak-willed or impressionable.” Of course you’re gonna want to read something like that!
I also got a kick out of “the reality show for people who can’t stand reality.”
glad to see you got a kick out of the link.
and will we ever see the real flash gordon? or is it forever trapped in some kind of post-written pre-printed limbo?
TRFG is forever trapped. I was paid in full for it, so I don’t actually have any claim on the property beyond the moral claim implicit in being the author — and we all know how much weight moral claims get in today’s business world.
Not to worry. Fifty, sixty years from now, it’ll be in the National Archives and we’ll be able to enjoy the shit out of it then, zombies, aliens, viruses, and alien zombie viruses be damned.
